Why did you want to participate in Young Tech Leaders of the Middle East?
The best way to continue learning is though teaching and exchanging knowledge. I believe the youth can inspire me in so many ways, challenge my assumptions, and have a dialogue with me. I also wanted to give back as a mid-career UX researcher originally from the Middle East. If I can inspire them, share my experiences, and help them grow, that will be gratifying for me.
Who is a leader that inspires you?
Hillary Clinton. She is an empowering woman who dares to climb up the ladder, is vocal about empowering other females, and challenged gender norms as a First Lady. She was also a successful lawyer that invested her life in children’s rights.
Where's your favorite place in the world?
Wherever I am with my 11-month-old son! As long as I’m with him, I don’t care which city, which country, or which continent I am in.

Why did you want to participate in Young Tech Leaders of the Middle East?
I’d likely be in a much different place without the support and knowledge of my own teachers and guides, and I’m grateful to take advantage of an opportunity that allows me to pay it forward. I’m animated by the opportunities that lie in technological innovation paired with thoughtful design, and I’m excited to help a new generation of leaders cultivate their skills and level the tech playing field.
What is a quote that inspires you?
“There’s nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it’s going to be a butterfly.” - R. Buckminster Fuller
What's your guilty pleasure?
Eating chocolate with breakfast. :)
