Ahmad is an award-winning social entrepreneur and author. He is currently the Middle East and Africa Regional Manager at Techstars, a global platform for investment and innovation. Since 2012, he has been helping hundreds of Syrians to gain access to entrepreneurship opportunities and building a supportive environment as the Entrepreneurship Program Director of Startup Roadshow and founder of Startup Syria. He published Entrepreneurship In Conflict Zones and Entrepreneurship in Exile to shed light on the status quo of Syrian founders in conflict zones and as refugees in host countries.
